Tiny baby Ayla was brought to life with Genesis heat-set paints and sealed well with matte varnish to achieve a realistic skin texture. I would like to note that she does have a *very* minor varnish crack under her right eye, which occurred while I was setting her eyes. The crack is very small and really only noticeable if the light hits her face just right. She has painted dark brown hair that has an additional layer of varnish over top, beautiful blue German glass eyes that are glued in to ensure they don't shift. Ayla is weighted with fine glass beads to be approximately 3 pounds and is on a white doe suede body, stuffed with soft polyfil so she's nice and snuggly. She fits in preemie size and takes a magnetic pacifier. Ayla will come home as a girl unless you request otherwise!
