⭐️ Meet Aslan II !! This sweet toddler boy is 26 inches long and weighs 8 lbs 2 ozs. I created Aslan II from the Pippa toddler sculpt by Natali Blick. Pippa is a Sold Out Limited Edition sculpt. I created Aslan to resemble a toddler boy of Turkish ancestry.
🦁 Aslan is an art doll that took many hours to create. He has realistic life like looking skin that I painted with many layers of genesis heat set paints, with layers including foundation, veins, mottling, details, flesh layers etc. I applied and baked on a final matte varnish layer and I glossed certain areas to add realism. His brows are painted and his lashes are rooted. I directionally rooted Aslan's hair with a blend of human hair to create a sunwashed golden brown color and it's glued inside his head. Aslan has some freckles and moles on some various areas on his limbs and head and a birthmark on his left thigh.
🦁 Aslan's eyes are handmade German glass ice blue/gray eyes. I rooted his lashes with dark brown mohair. Aslan's limbs are weighted with fine glass beads and polyfil and are capped off and glued. His head is stuffed with polyfil and a small polypellet sack and is capped off and glued. His cloth body is weighted with sacks of fine glass beads, a sack of polypellets and polyfil. His head has a strong magnet glued behind his lips for the magnetic pacifier that I modified for him. Due to the magnet in his head please use caution around ICD devices, pacemakers and other devices similar.
🦁 Aslan comes with his favorite toy (Lion), personalized lion onesie, plaid pants, sunshine T-shirt w/ orange shorts, yellow pajamas and lion hat, fur lined brown suede shoes, a few socks, a few diapers, magnetic pacifier, blanket, Poodie Luna's birth certificate, COA and Info & Care sheet.
🦁 I put my artists signature on the bottom of one of his butt cheeks on his cloth body. He wears 6-9 month and 12 month size clothing depending on brand. I took his photo's indoors and outdoors in multiple lighting situations.
