Jolie is poured in Sylvia's own very soft blend of Ecoflex silicone. She was poured all in one piece, and has armatures at her elbows for better posing possibilities. Her neck is soft and flexible allowing for head movement and as such she has to have her head supported at ALL TIMES to avoid tears in the silicone! She feels very real in your arms, like a sweetly sleeping baby. Jolie has an open mouth, with top gum and tongue inside, however the opening of her mouth is very small and will only fit a preemie sized pacifier.
Jolie's painting was done in a blend of professional silicone pigments and is sealed with a high quality matte finish for a soft and smooth baby-skin feel. She has soft veining, beautiful mottling, detailed nails, tiny capillaries, and lifelike shading all over.
Her hair was rooted with a fine and silky medium brown mohair in a very natural baby pattern. All her hairs were directionally rooted from the cut end for a smooth finish. You can very carefully brush and style her hair with a spritz of water and a soft bristled baby brush. Her tiny little eyelashes and eyebrows were also mono rooted in a baby brown.
