Leela is a gorgeous newborn sized full body silicone baby! She's about 19 inches long and 6.3 pounds. Leela was sculpted by one of my favorite sculptors in the business, Melody Hess. Her kit was bought directly from Melody. She was poured in a squishy Eco20 blend. She's an absolute dream to hold and such a darling!
Leela has an open mouth that can fit a regular newborn pacifier and has armatures in her arms and legs. The armatures extend into the hands and feet so that she also bends at the wrist and ankles. She is very carefully detailed with mottling, shading, capillaries, and veining. She has tiny nail tips and moons as well. She is anatomically correct. Baby is currently bald and has rooted alpaca lashes and lightly painted brown brows. She can also be rooted for an additional 300 in your choice of color. I decided to leave her bald initially so that her new family can choose to have her rooted later or leave her bald.
She was painted with PsychoPaints using SilcPig and SAM pigments. She has been matted with D3 matting powder and has glossed lips and nails.
Leela will come home with a small box opening consists of a sleeper, outfit, hospital hat, a pacifier, and some bows. She will also come home with a sample of matting powder and powder brush. She will be wrapped carefully in a soft blanket for her journey home (the knit rainbow blanket in some of her photos). She will also come with extra surprises.
