HI nursery friends! Just want to let you know of a change to this baby. I gave him more hair! He is the same handsome little boy but even more adorable! Please see before and after pic to see whats different. Oh my goodness he's even more beautiful to look at during those cuddle sessions. Everything is the came, just more hair. Sylas is a PARTIAL silicone baby. He is the adorable Emmet sculpt by Bountiful Baby and brought to life my me. These kits are 3D created using photos of actual real life babies. I love these babies because every little detail is captured perfectly. Baby comes with original COA. This baby was painted using psycho paints and my own mixture of colors to bring out his beautiful lifelike complexion. I have also given him a dry skin effect that you can see in the pics. He is a partial silicone baby so his head and limbs are made of a beautiful, soft solid platinum silicone. Sylas has been matted well but care must still be taken when handling him. If dust collects on baby simply wipe down gently with a soft damp cloth. DO NOT RUB! Doing so will cause the matting to come off. Using a silicone matting powder such as silicone velvet, Just Matte or similiar will take out tackyness that over time happens,. It’ll also take care of any shine, create a soft smoother feel and help clothes glide on better. It does not affect the quality nor paint. Although baby has been sealed and matted, shine can still happen over time by friction, rubbing or frequent bathing if you have a full body silicone. I put a light dusting of powder on him before sending him off. Doing so protects the silicone from friction when changing clothes. Great care must be taken when handling silicone babies. Changing clothing often, rubbing, extremes in temperatures and clothing with bleedable dyes will harm the silicone. Please avoid these. Sylas’s hair was micro rooted using very high quality mohair. I took great care and time to give this precious baby a beautiful head of hair that can be gently styled using a soft baby brush or toothbrush. Please do not tug on the hair. Hair cannot be sealed in place on silicone. Tugging and pulling will cause the hair to come out. I have rooted deeply but too much brushing will cause shedding and the hair to come out. This baby cannot take a pacifier. This kit was made with a closed mouth and so to protect the integrity of the silicone, I did not cut into the mouth. I believe you will enjoy the hyper realistic details. You will be able to see baby's veining "just below" the skin. Painted just barely there nails and eyebrows finish off the realism.
