What lucky souls, whoever got to gaze down at the real Miranda! Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous and so full of character! This is the ‘Miranda Asleep’ kit by Bountiful Baby (a Realborn created from 3D scans of an actual baby). She has been brought to life by me (Zoë Johnston) using both Genesis and BC heat set paints.
Miranda is weighted with quality ground glass granules and clean polyester in all the right ways so that her head flops back and her limbs spring open when she’s being held, just like a real baby. She is approximately 6.5 pounds (2.9 kg) and extremely lifelike with delicate veining, multi-hued mottling, small blemishes, a little scratch on her finger, soft facial hair, capillaries on her ears and eyelids, and beautifully soft blonde hair which is a combination of carefully rooted alpaca hair and finely detailed painting. She is approximately 19 inches long. Miranda has been double sealed with BC heat set varnish and also has soft touch matte coating on her palms and the soles of her feet. She is fitted with a magnet to enable her to take a dummy/pacifier (please be careful around pacemakers). This magnet can be removed by request if necessary.
Miranda is directionally mono and micro rooted with a very cute tufty look over her crown! Her hair tends to look natural whether it is smoothed down with a little dry conditioner or left a little freer. It is firmly glued from the inside, just like her delicate rooted eyelashes.
