Claudia is made and ready to send, she is a RealBorn sculpt , (A Realborn® is a replica of the real baby, Created from 3D scans of the real baby by Bountiful Baby.) I have made a Claudia in the past but this time I experimented with a more newborn pink complexion, and went quite heavy on the ‘dewy skin’ I have reflected this in her asking price as it was just a chance for me to try a few things out I have kept her name as Claudia but you can always change this.
I have taken lots of pictures of Claudia, in natural light
I have used Genesis heat set paints to build up her detailed skin tones, tipped and sealed nails, painted eyebrows, lightly varnished mouth and I used 'IArtReborn, Dewy skin' to complete her skin, I took the opportunity to experiment with this and its has given her a bit of a sheen as you can see by her pictures, which I have priced her accordingly.
Claudia is a newborn baby size , she will fit perfectly in newborn size and some first/tiny baby size clothing, I have weighted her approximately 4lbs, she's is floppy, giving her a realistic feel for a baby this size, she is lovely to hold.
Claudia has full length arms and full legs on a quality soft cloth body and is evenly weighted in her legs and arms using glass beads and virgin fibre fill, I have weighted her head and she has weight in her bottom which is surrounded with fibre fill. Her head is l floppy so will need supporting, like a real baby.
I have hand rooted Claudia’s hair using a brown mohair. this is completely sealed this inside. I recommend using a new toothbrush to comb using a little bit of baby shampoo/conditioner with water.
, If you are considering adopting Claudia for a younger collector, please keep in mind that she is NOT A TOY she is ART and contains small parts, She MUST be handled with LOVE.
Claudia has a magnet fitted behind her mouth to hold her magnetic dummy (The magnets I use are extremely strong neo magnets these can be potentially unsafe around pacemakers, PLEASE message me if these need to be removed)
Claudia will be prepared with a box opening, she will come home in a new box along with the new clothing shown in her pictures.
Claudia will also bring home her COA from Bountiful Baby.
