I've just become an aunt! So of course I had to paint a newborn this week:) This little sweetie is even smaller than my nephew!
*Length: 17in. *Weight: 3.6lbs *Weighted with glass beads and Poly-fil. *The hair and eyebrows are of heat set Genesis paints. *Her lips are a combination of heat set paint and acrylic paint. *Her lips, nose, and the corners of the eyes are glossed with paper gloss. *Her hands and feet are sealed with Decoart and cornstarch. (Only matte the hands and feet to reduce the shine and add extra protection.) *The eyelashes are rooted, light brown mohair. *She comes home in the outfit in the pictures (it's a size 0-3m and it's a bit big on her. She would be more comfortable in a newborn size, but I couldn't find one in my closet.
