This very special, adorable toddler is Chun Mei, sculpted by the amazingly talented Ping Lau! ❤️
I met Ping at IDEX in 2013 where she had her version of Chun Mei on display, fell in love and immediately ordered the kit! After waiting all this time, I finally decided to paint her. I hope I've done her justice, she's captured my heart.

Her hair is a high quality wig from Monique very securely glued to her head and then pinned along the perimeter of the hairline to ensure it stays in place ~ it's not going anywhere!
Nails are tipped and glossed so they have a sheen to them, but not overly shiny
Open nostrils for a realistic look, backed with felt
Limbs are weighted with fine glass beads to just above the ankles and just below the elbows then topped with polyfil. Her body contains a nylon sack filled with fine glass beads in her seat surrounded by polyfil. I put a pvc rod inside her body to assure she sits up straight. It's surrounded by polyfil and can't be felt.
She wears size 12 month clothing and size 4 shoes

I gave her a magnetic pacifier and she also has a magnetic hairbow ~ caution around people with pace makers, the magnets are strong
She'll bring along all clothing items pictured, pink shoes, black and white shoes, socks, pink hairbow, white hairbow, her birth certificate from my nursery, care instructions, and she will be securely wrapped for travel.
