Matty is a fully reborn painted head and doll body by Berenguer La Newborn. ***PLEASE NOTE: (this is not a factory-painted doll and went through the entire reborn painting process ) -The head and body were completely stripped to the base vinyl and repainted with full reborn details including - blushing, glossed lips and painted eyebrows and lashes - his head is rooted with soft curly mohair this took some time and many needles due to the thickness of his vinyl. Matty was painted in the style of reborn dolls in the days before blank kits were available to artists. Matty does not have an actual gender, he can be a girl and sent home as a girl by request. I added weight to his head and body -he does have a magnet but the modified pacifier I made for him works better as his mouth is slightly open. Matty is part of my group of dolls that I am making and offering at a lower price for gift-giving. He would be a great therapy baby, perfect for the upcoming 2024 holidays or as a gift to a new collector, young collector, and/or for those who love the older style dolls like Berenguer dolls, or if you just want to add a different kind of reborn to your collection and you have a budget to stick to.
