Olive is such an amazing and sweet Full Body Silicone baby. She is bigger newborn FBS and extremely floppy, out of every baby I have ever owned she absolutely feels the most realistic in my arms. Her little head flops back and needs full support, and she is squishy and cuddles up in the most perfect holding position in your arms. I could literally hold her all day long 💗
Her facial expression is possibly my favorite feature of hers, she is so expressive it changes as she moves. When she leans her head back, her mouth opens and she looks a little milk drunk. When she leans her head forward she looks cuddly and peaceful. It's amazing how as she moves, she changes. She has amazing rooted hair, that was done right before she came to me. Her tones are phenomenal, lots of warm, and pink fresh newborn tones. That's so difficult to obtain in a FBS baby.
Her sculpt is really special, she has the cute little newborn wrinkles when you bend her. Her fingers are sculpted hyper detailed and she has a lot of sweet realistic features. However she does have a few negatives I wanted to mention. Overall I definitely wouldn't call her overall a "booboo baby" but she does have one definite booboo and a few other little things worth mentioning. She has two little tears/holes I'm not really sure what to call them on her tongue. They are small, don't affect her in any way, and due to the location they aren't really at risk of getting worse but if you like to look in your babies mouth a lot, it is definitely an eye sore. You don't see them with any of her natural poses, you have to physically open her mouth to see them, all that being said, I will admit they do bother me a bit. The person I got her from didn't even know they were there, that's how subtle they are. But it's definitely a flaw and worth noting.
Otherwise she just has what I'd call "normal silicone imperfections". She has a lot of those little flecks all over her body, they are a little more noticeable on her face, hands and feet. They are accurately represented in the supplied pictures. I have been told that almost all silicone babies have these and it's extremely normal, a lot of people don't even mention them because it's expected but I want to make sure to notate them because she seems to have a little more than my other silicone does. I don't really think it's flake or peel, but I can't say without certainty but it does give a newborn skin type effect. She came to me a little sticky and shiny but I re-matted her and her skin looks perfect now. Her previous owner also thought it was important to notate to me that her painting was a little dark in certain areas like her ears and hands, I think it's perfect and gives a realistic newborn vibe but I know that's not everyone's cup of tea so I am mentioning it. It's all evenly done and obviously the artists style preference, not a mistake or accident and again the pictures portray her well. I love it, but I am trying to mention every little detail I can think of. Describing silicones can be difficult and I am not her first owner and she has been loved and handled, however not excessively and she has been well maintained but isn't brand new.
I'm pretty obsessed with her, and will definitely miss her. I just have a mortgage to pay, and a credit card to pay off so I'm parting with a couple of my babies ❤️
