Joey is a full body silicone preemie sculpted by Estibaliz Alonso and poured in silicone by Gemma Fuertes. He was painted and rooted by me. The sculpt name is Jolie, but I asked for Gemma to make it a boy - so I call him Joey.
Joey measures 16 inches / 40 cm and weighs 3 lbs 12 oz / 1700 g.
This doll is poured in a super soft silicone blend that simply melts in your arms. I love this sculpt for this reason - he is so very cuddly to hold. I have added armatures in his arms and legs for easier posing.
Joey is painted with many thin layers of Psycho paint and has subtle mottling, veining, blushing and capillaries on his cheeks and eyelids. He has glossed lips and nails. His mouth is open to take a full pacifier. It is only lightly shaded inside and not much painted. Joey also has a detachable tongue.
Joey is rooted with medium brown, super soft mohair. He is NOT micro or mono rooted.
Like many silicones, Joey has some imperfections due to the nature of silicone. He does have some small patches were the matting powder got on a little to thick. I don't consider this a big deal however, as for the most part it just looks like dry skin. He does also have a few shiny spots. These will be dry powdered before he is sent out. Please make sure to zoom in on all pictures to get an accurate idea of this doll's quality. Please also watch the video to see him in motion. I am still a beginner in silicone painting, so please keep that in mind when ordering from me.
Joey will come home with a cute outfit, a blanket, his teddy and his papers (COA and birth certificate).
