Realborn Kelsey Awake by Bountiful Baby
I have her here pictured without clothing to show you just exactly how adorable she is, even without the frills of ruffles and bows. However, please note, ALL of my babies come home dressed and with box opening extras! Xx
Size: Realborn Kelsey by Bountiful Baby is just the sweetest little thing. At 16 inches long and weighing approximately 2.3kg with a body that curls right up as if straight from the womb, Kelsey is the perfect size for tiny newborn cuddles.
Skin Features: I have used many thin layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints along with both satin and matte varnish to achieve Kelsey’s ultra realistic, just born blushed pink/red skin tone. Light mottling has been added to the limbs and slight purple hues have been used to highlight the appearance of blood flow as it reaches the hands and feet for the first time. This shows just how newly earth-side, tiny Kelsey really is. Kelsey has faint veins on both limbs and face, barely there milia across the nose, carefully shaded nostrils, mouth and ear cavities to show depth. Kelsey’s nails, both on fingers and toes, have extremely delicate, fine, pale tips. The nails along with Kelsey’s lips and mouth have been glossed and a slightly moist look added to the nostrils, eye lids and ear cavities. Kelsey is an awake baby and has newborn grey blue glass eyes.
Hair: I have been painting hair on reborns for over ten years now, and I am ver happy with how Kelsey’s Light brown hair has turned out. Kelsey’s hair is painted with many many fine brush strokes, in multiple shades to show depth and highlights. The hair has a natural newborn appearance and flows towards the forehead and back over the ears. Kelsey has lightly painted peach fuzz over the face, very neat subtle eyebrows and ultra fine rooted mohair eyelashes.
Other Notes: Kelsey has been perfect weighted with premium grade A fine glass beads and stuffed for extra cuddliness with high quality polyfil. Two magnets are located inside Kelsey’s head. One behind the mouth for a magnet pacifier/dummy and the other on the right of Kelsey’s forehead on the hair line for magnet hair accessories if the new family wishes for Kelsey to be a little girl. Kelsey is being listed as non gendered, leaving that option open for the new owner. Kelsey will be sent home in neutral colours unless the buyer wishes to choose sent as boy or girl at time of purchasing.
Box Opening: YES! Definitely! Kelsey will come home boxed with extra surprise gifts for a very special box opening. This will include items of my choosing (once boy, girl, neutral is specified by the buyer). Baby will also come home with a magnet dummy, and all the necessary paperwork including Birth Certificate, Care Information, Nursery Magnets and of course the all important Certificate of Authenticity verifying the kit used is genuine. All care is taken when preparing the baby for the journey home. Baby will be bundled cozy in their special blanket, bubble wrapped and placed into a box along with their extra gifts and paperwork mentioned above.
