🤍 This little gem is my second Delilah kit to paint and so was completed in June 2024
🤍 Many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints were used to achieve the translucency and skin tone needed for the softness and realism represented in this art doll. Her lashes have been rooted with fine dark brown Alpaca hair from Silk Effex Mohair. She is varnished with IRHSP Matte medium.
🤍 Delilah 2 does NOT have a magnet in her head for taking a magnetic pacifier, but one can easily be added BEFORE sending her to her new home if you so choose. Please let me know at time of purchase if you would like this to be done!
🤍 At least 50 hours were spent mono-rooting (one hair per hole) Delilah entirely with high quality, dark brown Alpaca hair sourced from Sarah Silk of Silk Effex Mohair. Her hair is also directionally rooted to lay a certain direction. Please see listing pictures for reference on how the hair is rooted to lay. Because of the fine quality of the hair and directional rooting, it is very soft and must be handled gently, minimally and with great care. A spritz of distilled water and soft baby toothbrush are all that are recommended to set the hair gently back in place.
🤍 Delilah is weighted proportionately with fine glass round beads and luxury polyfill.

🤍Photos were taken with a DSLR camera at different times of the day with natural daylight next to a window to give an accurate as possible representation of her coloring. No filters or photoshop were applied to any of her pictures.
