Sterling’s sculpt is part of a Limited Edition sculpted by Dawn Mcleod and was brought to life entirely by me, MegsArtDolls.
Sterling can come to you as a boy or girl. He/she is one of my first art dolls to paint and so was completed in 2023. Her lower price point reflects this. Nevertheless, Sterling has been kept in new condition, inside a display case.
Sterling will come with outfit pictured, COA, and a small box opening to include a diaper, receiving blanket, magnetic pacifier and pacifier holder.
🤎 Many many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints were used to achieve the deeper tones and vibrant coloring represented in this art doll Lashes are rooted with fine dark brown Mohair from Silk Effex Mohair. She is varnished with Genesis heat set Matte medium AND BC heat set semi-matte varnish for added paint protection and texture.
🤎 Many hours were spent hand painting Sterling’s hair with layers upon layers of differing shades of dark brown to almost black with a fine brush to resemble real hair strokes.
🤎 Sterling can take a magnetic pacifier but I do not recommend leaving the pacifier on for prolonged periods of time.
🤎 Sterling is weighted with fine glass round beads and luxury polyfill. Sterling has a substantial healthy newborn feel and weighs 7lbs approximately.
Photos were taken with a DSLR camera at different times of the day with only natural light next to a window to give an accurate as possible representation of her coloring. No photoshop or filters were used on any of the pictures.
