Look who has joined the nursery this evening! It's the sweet, wonderful Hailey!!!🥰 She is a SOLD-OUT Discontinued kit from Bountiful Baby and sculpted by the talented Donna RuBert. She is such a chunky baby!!! She is a big girl at about 28", but her jointed limbs make her very easy and fun to pose.
Hailey has been brought to life with many layers of Acrylic paint and sealed twice with a matte varnish. I have painted her with many details including soft veining and mottling, small capillaries, a baby "scratch: on her knee,a baby "pimple" on her chin, tipped fingernails and toenails, and a bit of "moisture" added to her lips, ears, nostrils, and corners of her eyes. She has brown "combi" hair which means it is painted with rooted mohair on the top for added realism. She also has brown painted eyebrows to match. Although the hair has been glued from the inside, gentle care must still be taken with it.
I have added a small amount of glass beads and Polyfil to her head so that she can be posed sitting up.

Hailey will be sent home in the beautiful outfit and hair bow in the photos plus two more outfits, a magnetic pacifier, 2 diapers, and a baby-scented wafer placed in her diaper. She wears a size 4/5 diaper and 18-24 month clothing depending on the brand. She will also be wrapped in a blanket along with care info. and a birth certificate.
