Malcolm was created from the discontinued Realborn Martin Asleep sculpt. Realborns are made from scans of real babies. He is 19 inches long and weigh around 5 and 1/2 pounds. He has full vinyl arms and legs with a cuddly cloth body. Malcolm wears size newborn.
Top to Toe Malcolm has been painted with Genesis heat set paints in many layers, including subtle veining, mottling, creasing, and blushing. His painting has been sealed for durability, so he has a slight texture. His head, limbs, and body are weighted with fine glass beads. He has an extra-large magnet behind his lips for a pacifier. Malcolm has been glossed in all the right places. He has a neck ring so his head turns easily. Malcolm has been rooted with super soft, dark brown Babylocks mohair.
