I am proud to present the now sold out (vinyl) Realborn Ruby Awake by Bountiful Baby, reborned by myself. Ruby is a cuddle baby which means only the head is vinyl, the body is cloth which makes it extra cuddly and ready for all the snuggles! Ruby comes with a handmade ReggiesDolls brand cuddle body that has been preweighed to perfection and triple stitched for protection! Ruby was handcrafted using air dry paints, texturing mediums and varnishes. Check out her beautiful hand drawn dark brown hair to match her stunning dark brown eyes. Ruby's eyes have been sealed with a glaze to give her that crybaby look!

* ARTISTIC IMPERFECTIONS *
Air Dry paints are extremely fragile during the drying process and in-between layers, especially while combating the collection of dust. Because of this; some small areas where rubbing of the paint may occur causing tiny smudges or bare spots. These spots are corrected where possible but may still be preset in the end result. Any substantial blemishes will be disclosed in the item description above. As this item is handmade, perfection should never be expected when dealing with such a high volume of pliable surface area. Please ask any questions regarding anything that may be deemed an imperfection by the artist prior to purchase, returns for artistic imperfections are not accepted.
* PHOTOGRAPHY *
Photographs are taken during different times of the day which means the visual hues will vary with each photo. Computer monitors also vary which make hue and saturation variations possible. Display photos were taken with photography lights as well as natural lighting. Please let me know if there is any specific aspects of baby that you would like to see that may not already be pictured.
* EYES *
Baby has dark oriental brown polyglass eyes in 20mm size. Eyes have been sealed with a glaze to give a wet/cry baby look and make them look more realistic! Baby does not have eyelashes.
* SKIN *
Baby was painted using Fluids Air Dry Paints and mediums. Baby was created using many layers of yellows, reds, blues and purples to give a lifelike translucent baby skin effect. Matte varnish sealant was used to seal the baby and Soft Touch Varnish was used with a beauty sponge to create a soft skin texture. Some areas of babies skin have been given extra texture using gel matte mediums. Lips, inner ears, eyelids and nose have all been sealed with a satin-gloss varnish for a wet looking finish.
* HAIR *
Babies hair & brows have been hand drawn using Prismacolor pencils in medium to dark brown hues. Baby has "peach fuzz" drawn around hairline, face, ears and neck to create a realistic effect to their skin and hair. Some parts of babies hair have "texture" used by adding a gel medium along the waves in the hair for an added 3d effect!
* BODY *
Baby has handmade pre-stuffed and weighted ReggiesDolls brand cuddle body, body comes with a COA and care instructions directly from ReggiesDolls. Baby is 19.5" in length and 4 lbs 14 oz in weight. Babies head has been weighed by me using larger glass beads to ensure it is floppy and in need of support, just like a real baby! NO SAND OR PAPER IS EVER USED AS FILLER FOR MY DOLLS.
* COMING HOME *
Baby will come home with a small box opening including: outfits of my choice, white onesies, socks, magnetic pacifier, swaddle blanket, magnetic bows, mittens and care instructions!
