He was reborned by me from the Realborn® Chase Sleeping sculpt by Bountifulbaby. He does not have a certificate of authenticity from Bountifulbaby, because I purchased just the head of the kit, and they don't include the certificate in this type of purchase (I can show you the receipt if needed). He has a certificate from my nursery anyway.
He is painted with Genesis Heat Set paints and sealed with BC Heat Set Paints semi-matte Varnish, with soft touches of wet effect from the same brand. I painted on his veins, capillaries, a little of milia on the nose, some dry skin on his eyelids and two little red birthmarks: one behind his right ear and the other one under his left ear (you can see them both on the photos). I used very fine hair fibers fiber to create all those little white hairs in his face (lanugo), they are sealed with another cape of varnish. He also has glossy lips and nostrils.
His hair is rooted with a very soft and thin premium alpaca hair: the color is a light blonde. His lashes are rooted with the same hair. He is a cuddle baby, so all his body is a cloth body; only his head is made of vinyl. All the cloth body is filled with glass beads and polyfill softly distributed to create a very realistic weight and movement of the doll. His head is filled with fine quartz sand and soft polyfill, and when you lift the baby up, his head falls back very nicely.
He will go home with the outfits you can see in the last picture. That picture also shows the white blanket, magnetic pacifier and diapers he will bring too. I saw him as a boy, but if you want a girl, don’t hesitate to tell me, and I’ll find some girl outfits to send her! Everything will be nicely packaged to give you a very beautiful box opening. He wears a size “0 month”- “newborn” in clothing.
This doll HAS a magnet inside his head to take a pacifier. If you want me to remove it, please let me know and I will do it once the purchase is completed.
