Size: Ellie is just so adorable! At just over 22 inches long and weighing approximately 2.8kg with almost straight legs, Ellie can be posed laying down, sitting unassisted or even attempting to stand for the first time!
Skin Features: I have used many thin layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints along with both satin and matte varnish to achieve Ellie’s ultra realistic, Caucasian infant skin tone. Light mottling has been added to the limbs and slight blushing to her cheeks, ears, nose, hands, knees and feet to give her a cozy warm look. Ellie has faint veins on both limbs and face, barely there milia across the nose, carefully shaded nostrils, mouth and ear cavities to show depth. Ellie’s nails, both on fingers and toes, have extremely delicate, fine, pale tips. The nails along with Ellie’s lips and mouth have been glossed and a slightly moist look added to the nostrils, eye lids and ear cavities. Ellie is an awake baby and has beautiful realistic green glass eyes.
Hair: Ellie’s hair has been directionally rooted with very high quality HP Babylocks dark brown mohair. The hair is micro rooted with only one to two hairs placed in each hole, and sealed with glue inside the head to hold the hair strands secure so you can very gently style Ellie’s hair with a baby brush. I am very happy with how Ellie’s dark brown hair has turned out. The hair has a natural appearance that comes forward from a swirled crown, is side swept, flowing towards the right of her forehead and back over the ears. Ellie also has painted baby hair through her hairline for extra realism. Ellie has lightly painted, very neat subtle infant eyebrows and rooted mohair eyelashes.
Other Notes: Ellie has been perfect weighted with premium grade A fine glass beads and stuffed for extra cuddliness with high quality polyfil. Two magnets are located inside Ellie’s head. One behind the mouth for a magnet pacifier/dummy and the other on the right of Ellie’s forehead on the hair line for magnet hair accessories if the new family wishes for Ellie to look her prettiest. Ellie is being listed as a little girl, however I am happy to send as a boy or neutral leaving that option open for the new owner. Please let me know which option you would like when purchasing. Ellie will be sent home as a little girl if no other option is chosen.
Box Opening: YES! Definitely! Ellie will come home boxed with extra surprise gifts for a very special box opening. This will include items of my choosing (once boy, girl, neutral is specified by the buyer). Baby will also come home with a magnet dummy, and all the necessary paperwork including Birth Certificate, Care Information, Nursery Magnets and of course the all important Certificate of Authenticity verifying the kit used is genuine. All care is taken when preparing the baby for the journey home. Baby will be bundled cozy in their special blanket, bubble wrapped and placed into a box along with their extra gifts and paperwork mentioned above.
