This listing is for a very special, prize winning full body silicone art doll - Olivia.
She was sculpted and cast by the very talented Elena Westbrook.
She has been fully painted and rooted by me, Meg Pliego - MegsArtDolls.
She is a long sold out, limited edition sculpt. Olivia was featured at this year’s 2024 Dolls of the World Expo in Raleigh, NC, and won 2nd place in the Silicone category of the expo’s art doll contest!
Olivia was poured in a special soft blend Platinum silicone, all in one piece, and has armatures installed in her arms and legs. She has the perfect amount of squish and weight for a newborn of her size. A full body silicone like Olivia must be held to understand just how wildly realistic an art doll of her caliber can feel.
Many hours of work and pigmented layers of platinum silicone were utilized to achieve the translucency, depth and realism of her coloring to represent a multi-ethnic, olive skin toned baby.
Olivia has been mono-rooted with dark brown Mohair and Alpaca hair sourced from Sarah Silk - Silk Effex Mohair. Her eyebrows were meticulously created with tiny applied dark brown Alpaca hairs for realism and carefully sealed into place with silicone.
Olivia wears newborn size clothing and will come home with a small but generous box opening. It will include her Certificate of Authenticity (COA), a receiving blanket, pacifier, pacifier clip, two diapers, bloomers, a cream knit top, a onesie, several headband bows, a mohair care kit with a soft toothbrush and satin square, and a pair of socks.
