This is beautiful Jaylan by Laura Tuzio-Ross. He is a limited edition - number 629 out of 1200.
I hand painted him with many layers of heat set paints and sealed him twice. He has full vinyl limbs and a doe suede body. He is weighted nicely with fine glass beads and stuffed with premium Poly-Fil stuffing. His eyes are a medium brown, half-round glass eyes from McPhersonscrafts. He has open nostrils and they are backed with black felt for a realistic look.
I hand rooted dark brown, curly/wavy mohair and it is glued from inside the head with E6000 Craft Adhesive. His eyelashes are also rooted and secured with glue. His eyebrows are painted.
His nails, mouth/lips, corner of his eyes, nostrils and ears are glossed. He also has tipped nails.
He has an industrial strength magnet glued to the inside of his head and comes with a magnetic pacifier. However, due to the shape of the inside of his mouth, I had to make a modified pacifier and glue the magnet onto the back of the paci. The magnet is covered with moleskin to protect baby's mouth. Please keep in mind that persons with pacemakers should not be near magnets.
He will come home to her new mommy/daddy wearing a diaper, the striped romper and will be and wrapped in a blanket. He will also come home with his magnetic pacifier. He will come with a small box opening. The stuffed bear and lovie are a props only and not included in the purchase. He comes with his numbered COA and a birth certificate from my nursery
I will securely package him so that he will be protected from any wet and damp weather conditions.
