This is a beautiful, realistic, reborn sculpt by Bonnie Sieben. This is Tia. She has full limbs and a doe suede body. The pictures you see here are photos of the exact doll that you will receive. She is so sweet and perfect. She is a limited edition (number 379 of 1200).
I painted her with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. I added mottling and veins. Her veining is not completely up to my standards - otherwise, she is perfect (see photos). She also had an area on her arm that had a raised area. I did not initially notice this, so I painted it as a scratch (see photo). None of this takes away from her adorableness. She is sealed with a matte finish so she doesn't get shiny. I added a gloss finish to her nails, mouth, nose and corners of her eyes. I even added nail tips. She has open nostrils which are backed with black felt for a realistic look.
I hand rooted wavy chocolate brown mohair to her scalp, eyelashes, and eyebrows. I glued the mohair to the inside of her head with industrial strength glue. Her hair can be styled with water or mohair conditioner for a straight or wavy look. Care should still be taken when brushing or styling the hair.
Her limbs, head and body are weighted with fine premium glass beads and stuffed with 100% polyester Poly-Fil so she feels like a real baby in your arms.
She has a strong earth magnet glued to the inside of her head behind her mouth so that she can take a magnetic pacifier. Please keep in mind that persons with pacemakers should not be near magnets.
Weight - 4 pounds, 14 ounces Height - 18 inches Wears preemie and some newborn clothing.
She will come home to her new mommy/daddy wearing a diaper, the pink floral onsie and and shorts. She wrapped in a blanket. She will come home with a box opening with a few extra goodies. She will also come home with her magnetic pacifier. She comes with her COA and a birth certificate from my nursery.
I will securely package her so that she will be protected from any wet and damp weather conditions.
