This is a beautiful, realistic, Bountiful Baby Realborn. Dominic has full limbs and a doe suede body. He is gorgeous and just so precious. These are photos of the actual doll that you will receive. I hand-painted him and photographed him and he is the doll you will receive. I do not use photos of prototype dolls.
I painted him with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. I added subtle mottling and veins. He is sealed with a matte finish so he doesn't get shiny. I added a gloss finish to his nails, mouth, nose and corners of his eyes. I even added nail tips. He has baby blue-grey glass oval eyes. He has open nostrils which are backed with black felt for a realistic look.
I hand rooted curly black mohair to his scalp and eyelashes. I glued the mohair to the inside of his head with industrial strength glue. His eyebrows are painted. Care should still be taken when brushing or styling the hair.
His limbs, head and body are weighted with fine premium glass beads and stuffed with 100% polyester Poly-Fil so he feels like a real baby in your arms. I used rings when attaching his arms and legs, so that they move easily.
He has a strong earth magnet glued to the inside of his head behind his mouth so that he can take a magnetic pacifier. Please keep in mind that persons with pacemakers should not be near magnets.
He will come home to his new mommy/daddy wearing a diaper and blue "Whaley Handsome" sleeper gown as shown in the photos. He will be wrapped in a blanket. He will also come home with his pacifier. He comes with a COA and will have a small box opening.
I will securely package him so that he will be protected from any wet and damp weather conditions.
