New Layla Kit w Body/COA
Available for purchase is a sold out, new and authentic vinyl blank Layla kit, with a head, four full limbs, cloth body and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the sculpting artist Andrea Arcello. This kit has no boo boos.
The kit was purchased a few years ago and stored away from heat, moisture and sunlight in a smoke free environment. There are 2 cats in my house but they haven't had access to the kit storage area.
The doll's length, when completed, will be approximately 17". I have reborned a few Layla kits and she's a darling one. If you require more pictures of this kit before deciding to buy, message me with a request. There is a feature of this kit that is different than any other kit I've seen: the head has a slight amount of fine baby hair lines on it. It makes for a texture to the touch. Layla's bald head is not totally smooth.

Reborn babies are hand-made collectible art dolls. They are intended for keeping and enjoyment by adults and are not intended for child’s play.
Keep the following care instructions in mind when deciding whether to purchase a reborn baby doll. You will receive a care sheet with these instructions with your doll.
• Handle with extra care. Reborns are more delicate than mass market, store bought dolls. Always be gentle. Never leave them unsupervised around children or pets.
• Do not wet your doll, except for an occasional light wipe of a very soft, lightly moistened cloth on the vinyl head or limbs. Avoid rubbing! Your skin has natural oils that can rub off on the vinyl, leaving it shiny. Be careful when dressing and undressing the doll, as too much friction can also result in unwanted shine. Always wash newly bought dark clothes or blankets twice before putting on the doll, as dye can stain the skin permanently. Putting a white layer of clothing underneath dark colors should prevent color transfer
• Avoid picking the baby up by the limbs or head. Always keep a supportive hand beneath the body and cradle the head. (Just like a real baby!) There are small pouches of tiny glass (and/or metal beads or poly pellets) placed throughout your baby for realistic weight, and should not be removed except under careful handling in a contained area free of pets or children. All internal filling and weighting materials (and a magnet, if included, as well as any pacifier and pacifier leash/clip) are potential choking hazards.
• Never leave your baby near a heat source, in a hot car or in prolonged sunlight. These things can warp or discolor. Likewise, do not store your baby in extreme cold. Don't let too much dust accumulate on the doll; a few gentle strokes with a very soft makeup brush can be used to remove dust. A smoke-free environment will protect the doll from burns and lingering odors.
• Your reborn should never be stored in a plastic container or bag, as there are oils in the doll's vinyl that could interact negatively with plastic. Always wrap your baby doll in plain white tissue paper and place in a cardboard box, if you need to store it.
• If your baby is modified to take a magnetic pacifier, there is a powerful magnet glued behind your reborn’s lips. A modified doll (and the modified magnetic pacifier) should never be near pacemakers or around phones/electronics. Importantly, supervision is necessary around children and pets to ensure any dislodged magnets are not ingested, as they can pose risk of serious internal injury.

I generally only mail on Saturdays, due to transportation issues. Delivery is via US Mail, via ground advantage rate, which can take 5 or more days. All contents are visually documented at time of packing and boxes are insured for full value of contents. They will require an adult signature for delivery. Signature requirement cannot be waived.
I pack well and use sturdy boxes for safe traveling!
If your mailing address is in Hawaii or Alaska, an additional $10 will be added to the shipping cost. You will be invoiced for the $10 and it must be paid separately before the doll will ship. NO exceptions.
