This is a Sara Linn. She is a gorgeous sculpt by Antonio Sanchis. She is beautiful and so realistic. The pictures you see here are photos of the exact doll that you will receive. Please look carefully at the photos and read the description prior to buying. She is absolutely stunning. I really wanted to keep her.
I painted her with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. I added mottling and veins. She is sealed with a matte finish x2 so she doesn't get shiny. I added a gloss finish to her mouth, nose and corners of her eyes. She has open nostrils which are backed with black felt for a realistic look. She has beautiful newborn gray oval glass eyes.
Her hair is painted with 3 different shades of brown to give her hair the appearance of depth. Her eyebrows are also painted. Her lashes are hand rooted with straight brown mohair.
Her limbs, head and body are weighted with fine premium glass beads and stuffed with 100% polyester Poly-Fil to give her that cuddly feel. ****Please also note that cuddle bodies have an opening at the upper half of all four limbs so they can be weighted and stuffed. These openings are then sewed up. I used white thread because I had no tan thread. (See photos.) The cuddle bodies are typically always covered with clothes anyway, so this should not be an issue.
She has a strong earth magnet glued to the inside of her head behind her mouth so that she can take a magnetic pacifier. Please keep in mind that persons with pacemakers should not be near magnets.
She will come home to her new mommy/daddy wearing a diaper and the white/pink sleeper and hat as shown in the photos. She will be wrapped in a blanket. She will also come home with her magnetic pacifier and a small box opening. She will come with a birth certificate from my nursery. She does not come with a COA. MacPhersoncrafts does not send COA's with their cuddle kits. I have included a photo of the back of her neck with the kit name and sculptor name.
I will securely package her so that she will be protected from any wet and damp weather conditions.
These dolls are considered art dolls and are not meant for child's play. Care should be taken when handling these dolls.
