Realborn Harlow/Dominic is a hybrid kid I’ve made with Harlows head and Dominic’s full length limbs. Her kit was a seconds and wasn’t the easiest to work with so I’ve made this little one a “boo boo” baby. She is a a bargain baby so she has painted black hair with a little bit of rooted mohair on top. This combo hair allows me to keep costs low.
She or he is painted with GHSP and varnished with a matte varnish. I have also added a soft touch top coat. His lashes are rooted and sealed from the inside as well as his hair. There is an also a magnet inside his head for a pacifier.
I’ve included details such as veining, blushing, creasing, mottling, capillaries and milia for as much realism as possible. This doll was painted with multiple layers and layers of paint to achieve the most realistic look possible. I’ve weighted to about 5lbs 11oz, with glass beads and stuffed with polyfill but assembled this doll to be floppy like a real baby. So will have to be supported and held as such.
