Daphne has arrived to Opal’s Angels nursery! This sleepy, curly haired girl is all ready for cold weather snuggles! Photos are taken in natural and artificial light for comparison. I do not use filters. Daphne is painted in translucent layers with Ultimate Fusion and RebornFX and Golden air-dry paints. Baby is sealed with Windsor and Newton Matt UV Varnish then with Americana soft-touch varnish for a durable, lovely baby skin texture. Daphne has delicate veining, mottling, blushing, and capillaries on eyelids and ears, plus a little gloss added in all the right places. Baby is weighted with glass beads and filled with premium Poly-fil to look and feel like a real baby. Eyes are fringed with beautiful, rooted lashes. Nails are tipped and then sealed with DuraClear varnish for a natural look. Eyebrows and hair are hand painted and sealed and a cute lock of rooted, quality mohair on top. Baby has a flopping head which will need to be supported just like a real baby. Daphne has an adorable heart birthmark on her right knee. Daphne is wearing newborn size clothing in the photos.
