This is partial silicone Realborn Felicity Sleeping. She is a full limb, partial silicone kit painted with silicone pigments over multiple layers and over the course of weeks. I have tried my best to paint each layer with the intent of adding realism and skin texture. This includes, mottling, undertones, creasing, blushing, veining, blemishes or other lifelike marks, nail details, lip details and so much more. I’ve made sure to make this little one super newborn red. I’m still new to painting silicone so though this little one is fully rooted, with premium mohair and finished with velvet powder, I’ve tried to keep pricing as low as possible.
Felicitys hair was rooted over the course of two weeks, by hand with premium and soft mohair. It’s a blend of wavy and curly black/dark brown hair. The overall appearance is black. Her eyelashes were rooted with the same. I have made sure to give Felicity a FULL head of hair. If you are new to silicone dolls then you need to know that there is no way to seal hair on a silicone. You cannot glue it from the inside as it is not hollow. Because of this all silicones that are rooted run the risk of balding or hair loss over time. Especially with brushing or washing. Specifically because of this I’ve rooted extra hair on her and made sure her head was extra full of hair. Shedding is normal because of this as well.
Felicity is matted and finished with Silicone Velvet brand matting powder for a matte, nonstick and super soft finish. I’ve opened her mouth to take a full pacifier as well.
This little one was filled with poly fill and weighed with glass beads to about 7 pounds. Because of this please be very careful while handing and holding this handmade art doll. Her limbs are full size and all silicone so they are soft and floppy as well. Her head is full silicone and also has some weight to it too. Her body is cloth. All limbs are equipped with rings for easier posing and moving.
