This is an adorable, realistic, reborn doll. Vanessa is a 26 inch tall toddler. She has full limbs and a doe suede body. These are photos of the actual doll that you will receive. I hand-painted her and photographed her and she is the doll you will receive. I do not use photos of prototype dolls.
I painted her with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. I added subtle mottling and veins. She is sealed with a matte finish so she doesn't get shiny. I added a gloss finish to her nails, mouth, nose, ears and corners of her eyes. I even added nail tips. She has green-gray glass oval eyes. Her nostrils are open and backed with black felt for that realistic look.
I hand rooted wavy brown mohair to her scalp. Her eyelashes are also rooted. I glued the mohair to the inside of her head with industrial strength glue. Her eyebrows are painted. Care should still be taken when brushing or styling the hair.
Her limbs, head and body are weighted with fine premium glass beads and stuffed with 100% polyester Poly-Fil so she feels like a real baby in your arms.
She has a strong earth magnet glued to the inside of her head behind her mouth so that she can take a magnetic pacifier. Please keep in mind that persons with pacemakers should not be near magnets.
Weight - 9 pounds, 8.5 ounces Height - 26 inches Wears 6-9 month clothing and some 12 month clothing.
She will come home to his new mommy/daddy wearing her pink romper. She will be wrapped in a blanket. She will also come home with her pacifier, the sleeper from the photos and a nice box opening with other outfits. Please note that I have to go shopping for her due to I am limited in the size clothes that she wears. The pink floral outfit and the winnie the pooh outfit belonged to my daughter when she was a baby and are not included in the box opening. The pink bunny is a prop and not included in the sale. She comes with a COA and a birth certificate from my nursery.
I will securely package her so that she will be protected from any wet and damp weather conditions.
These dolls are considered art dolls and are not meant for child's play. Care should be taken when handling these dolls.
