Look who's new in the nursery! Please welcome Peyton. This is the cute "Trixi" kit by the talented Severine Piret. Peyton was hand painted using Genesis heat set paints. This paint is permanent. She has subtle mottling and veining throughout her limbs, blue and purple undertones where babies have thinner skin. I use my own combination of Genesis varnish to matte, seal and protect her painting which gives her "skin" a slight texture. I have given Peyton a lovely new baby skin tone. I paint only in natural daylight and apply many thin layers for a realistic 3D effect. I mix my own colors making Peyton truly one of kind! Peyton has painted eyebrows and dark lashes. A small nail scratch adds to her details. Her sweet nose has been shaded to create depth and I have added the moisture affect to her eyelids, ears, inside of her mouth and nostrils. Her lips have been lightly glossed. I have chosen beautiful Lauscha German glass eyes in an enchanting green color for Peyton. I then lightly glossed them over for that realistic moist look ~so lifelike! Peyton has a professionally made cloth body. It features non jointed full arms and full legs with a gathered tushy with a darted chest for the ultimate in realism when posing or holding sweet Peyton. It is a lovely flesh color and will look seamless under clothes. Peyton.fits well into 3 to 6 months sized clothing depending on the brand and fit you like. Peytons limbs and body are filled with a combination of 2 different size fine glass beads, soft fiberfill and a baby fat tummy insert. She is weighted to feel like a real baby in your arms. She is scented to keep her smelling baby fresh. Peyton takes a modified pacifier. Her sweet fingers and toes have been tipped and sealed. I have given Peyton lovely high quality yearling angora mohair in a beautiful dark red/auburn. It is directionally rooted, soft, straight with some wave to it and sealed from the inside so that it may be gently styled. Mohair really adds to the realism of your reborn!

Baby is handmade, fragile and considered art, not a toy. Baby is meant to be displayed and observed. I do not recommend my baby dolls for children under the age of 14. I have been creating reborn baby dolls for years and have even been a prototype artist for top sculptors such as Toby Morgan, Tru Born Inc and Cassie Brace. Each baby made in my studio takes many hours of dedication to complete. I take pride in my art and care about my work. I use only quality materials and proven methods along with some of my own techniques. I am constantly working to improve with each baby made. Due to the nature of the item and because baby is fragile and considered art I would prefer not to take a return. Everyone wants to be baby's original mommy so please understand and respect that. Baby is represented in the photos to the best of my ability with all pictures taken by myself in natural daylight using a Nikon dslr camera over a two day period. Baby is painted art so the skin tone may vary slightly depending on the light in which baby is displayed. I use a color calibrated, high resolution monitor. Monitor settings may differ so please allow for this. As with any handmade item slight imperfections can occur but do not detract from the beauty of the art work. Please make sure the baby is for you BEFORE buying. I do not offer a private layaway here however you may take advantage of the buy now, pay later programs offered (pending approval). I do not alter my reborns once completed so please do not ask for any modifications. I use a digital scale to weigh the baby. Baby comes with the items in the layette section only.
