I use only the finest materials, and pay great attention to every detail. Her ultra realistic skin tones were formed using many layers of Genesis Heat Set paints, including veining, mottling, and tiny capillaries.
She has no magnet, she uses a modified wee thumbie pacifier that fits perfectly.
I took many close up photos of her, I love taking close up pictures so you can see the details of the baby doll you are getting. My photos are always taken in natural lighting with no editing done to them, they accurately represent her.
Her head is weighted so that you must support it like a real baby. She is accurately weighted with fine glass beads and filled with premium super soft polyfil. I do not skimp anywhere during the creation of these dolls. She feels like you're holding a real baby, you won't want to put her down! She is preemie size and wears preemie clothing.
Her hair is a combination of prismacolor and paint, along with her delicately painted eyebrows. I love doing painted hair on these dolls, it is 100% mess and worry free, no matter how many times you want to put a hat on her little head.. It is painted in a realistic newborn hair pattern and looks like real hair!
She has been finished with a mixture I use to give the skin a pretty glow and as an extra layer of protection for permanence, and glossed in all the right places. I use a blend of matte and satin varnishes, only Genesis brands, which gives a texture to the "skin" in some areas, but it is necessary for protection, and for extra realism for the look of baby skin.
She has full limbs attached to a high quality, durable faux doe suede body.
She will come home to you with her layette purchased just for her: all outfits pictured, modified pacifier, swaddle blanket, and diaper.
My home is completely smoke free, we have one hypoallergenic poodle who is a beloved member of our family but she does not go in my studio area.
