Painted with GHSP and BC paints, and varnished with a matte varnish as well as a soft touch, matte top coat. I have painted this doll over weeks and each layer is done specifically to bring out realism and create a unique and handpainted reborn baby doll. I was going for a fresh, newborn red look with this little one.
This little one features, mottling, creasing, blushing, veining, capillaries, rash and imperfections to make for a visually realistic doll. I’ve also included milia, nail details and gloss to add to the effect. Reese is bald, but I wanted to make sure I detailed his or her head with plenty of veins, capillaries and peach fuzz or lanugo for added realism as well. Lashes are rooted with mohair and sealed from the inside.
Reese is stuffed with poly fill and each limbs is weighed with glass beads, the head is also weighed for a newborn effect. You will have to support the head as you would a real newborn. The body is a cloth body, also stuffed and weighed and the limbs are jointed for ultimate movability. I’ve also added a magnet inside the head for a pacifier, which is included.
This bargain baby does not come with a huge box opening, as I’m trying to offer these dolls as as possible. Baby will come with the outfits shown and the pacifier shown. A diaper will also be included As well as the COA for this kit.
