This doll has been hand painted to resemble a real baby. Intricate detailing accentuates her lifelike features. Each eyelash was rooted by hand and eyebrows were hand painted and are not perfect. Each strand of hair on her head is a combination of paint and pencil. Hair and body have been sealed with matte varnish for additional protection. No two dolls in my nursery will be identical. I strive to make each doll look as realistic as possible. My dolls are priced to reflect my level of experience. Please do not expect perfection as I am learning a new art and enjoying every minute of it!
I try my best to take each photo in natural light in hopes of capturing as close to the true coloring as possible. These pictures were taken using both natural and artificial lighting to capture the truest look of the doll. Please keep in mind that coloring on each technology device may vary. With this in mind, the exact color of a doll may differ due to the differences in color and brightness levels among screens.
This doll is weighted in the limbs, body, and head providing a realistic feel when holding her. She is lightly stuffed and is a floppy style of doll. The head flops when holding her which adds another touch of realism. The body is not overly stuffed. Please keep in mind that while the varnish adds an additional layer of protection to the doll, it does not ensure that the paint won't rub off. Reborns should be handled with care to protect the paint, eyelashes, and overall appearance of the doll. Mishandling can lead to poor outcomes. Please note: this doll should not be fully submerged in water as it is not intended for such.
