Precious little Akira is ready to find her Mama or Daddy. She is 14” from head to toe and weighs 2 lbs. 10.6 oz. She was lovingly brought to lite by me, Carol Manoukian with Caroline’s Touch Art Dolls using Psycho Paint, both Sam’s and Ella Mck’s Pigments and was sealed and then matted using Psycho Paint and Silicone Velvet Matting Powder.
Her hair was directionally mono/micro rooted (98% Mono rooted meaning one hair per hole and about 2% Micro rooted meaning 2-4 hairs per hole) Her mohair is soft and a lovely, black, wavy Fine Adult Grade Mohair by Sarah Silk.
Akira’s eyelashes were rooted and her eyebrows were hand applied using straight black Sarah silk mohair and then the eyebrows were sealed under several layers of psycho paint.
It took me many hours to achieve her skin tone. I worked meticulously on details to make her look like a real baby including veins and small capillaries. Her nail beds on both hands and feet turned out beautifully. She is my best work to date and I’m so very proud of her! If she doesn’t sell, I am very happy to keep her in my collection. She is going to be hard to part with anyway. I just love her so much!
However, if she does happen to find a Mama or Daddy, she will come home with a small but sweet box opening, including 4 special ordered, hand-sewn dresses and matching panties. Plus several other lovely things which will make a very nice box opening for you or someone you love.
Since only 20 photos are allowed per listing, I will put all of these plus many more into a video for you to watch and hopefully enjoy. Please make sure to watch it. Shipping will either be by USPS Priority Mail with insurance and tracking or by UPS 5 day ground with insurance and tracking. Adult signature of purchaser will be required to sign in order to receive my doll. Purchaser's name and address in Reborns.com must match with PayPal.
If expedited services are requested, it will be the responsibility of the buyer to pay the difference and will be billed separately before shipment.
Once package leaves my hands and into the hands of USPS or UPS, it is not my fault or responsibility if the package becomes lost, damaged or stolen as I have done all I can to insure its safe arrival to you. Photos and videos of the box packing as well as the labeling and shipping up until the acceptance into mail system will be recorded for my protection and yours.
At this time, I will be selling and shipping within the USA only, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

No Warranty - However, if this is a baby I painted and rooted, I stand behind my work and if it’s my fault, I will repair, free of charge and will pay one way shipping home to you within the USA. This offer becomes null and void after 12 months after date of purchase or once resold or upon ownership transfer.
Do not bath my dolls as they are not meant to get wet. If baby is not properly cared for and/or handled roughly causing water damage, hair loss, peeling paint, scratches, rips or tears to the silicone, that is absolutely not my fault. These dolls are collection pieces/works of art and are not toys. However, if something should happen, please reach out to me and I may be able to help.
