I have done one other Caspian and it was a boy. I assumed going in that this would also be a boy. I was wrong. I know it really can go either way, but a lot of times I see something when I'm painting that will make me lean towards boy or girl. To me, she has a dainty, almost fragile look about her that made me think GIRL, all the way. She is so so sweet and I just love her open hands and the little wrinkles she has on them. Once I added the earrings, that was all she wrote. IT'S A GIRL!
I painted Caspian with GHSP and finished with a matte varnish. She has subtle veining and capillaries, as well as newborn blemishing. Her ears are pierced with the sweetest little pearls. She is weighted to feel like a newborn, so her head will need to be supported, and her bottom will need to be patted.
Caspian will come home with her turkey day sleeper and bow, her onesie with bow and socks, and her little sweater and pants with socks and a bow. She will also come home with her COA, lovey, magnetic pacifier, and blanket, I am also happy to include a small box opening.
