Photos are taken in natural and artificial light for comparison. I do not use filters. Kai is painted in translucent layers with Ultimate Fusion, RebornFX, and Golden air-dry paints. Baby is sealed with Windsor and Newton Matt UV Varnish then with Americana soft-touch varnish for a durable, lovely baby skin texture. Kai has delicate capillaries, mottling, veining, blushing, milia and a little gloss added in all the right places. Kai is weighed with glass beads and filled with premium Poly-fil. Eyes are fringed with beautiful, rooted lashes. The eyebrows and hair are hand painted and sealed, with a cute patch of soft, rooted mohair. Baby’s head is floppy and will need to be supported like a real baby. Kai is wearing newborn sized clothing.
