Here we have my newest pretty baby doll.. Caleb from the Caleb kit by Heather Boneham.
I purchased this kit from Bountiful Baby several years ago and I believe this is now a discontinued kit.
Baby comes with Pretty Baby Dolls birth Certificate.
Baby is 13 inches long - 3/4 with vinyl arms and legs. Baby has a soft doe suede body and has been weighted perfectly as to feel like a viable preemie size baby. real baby.
Baby is bald … but I did root just a few hairs around her head for realism. Baby has rooted light blonde lashes.
To create this beautiful baby - please note the following:
Realisticly “barely there” eyebrow.
Rooted light blonde eyelashes.
Multiple layers of genesis heat set paint to created a realistic and dimensional skin tone. Genesis paints are non toxic and never chip or fade.
Weighted with small glass beads and padded with angel soft polly fill.
Tipped and sealed fingernails and toenails.
Gloss medium on lips and a bit on the nose and around eyes for added realism.
Baby weighs about 1.5 pounds and is 13 inches long.
Baby also has a magnetic pacifier, her own baby blanket and her clothes featured in the photographs.
Photos were taken with my iphone and the only edits I did were cropping. All of the pictures were taken inside with the use of lighting.
Note: I did have baby on here about a week ago… but the pictures were not great. I redid babie’s pics mostly outside in natural light.
As with any work of art, this baby is a depiction of my personal artistic impression of a soft, sweet and realistic preemie baby.
