🌻Kate is a reborn cuddle baby with a fully reborn painted head made by Berenguer. ***PLEASE NOTE: (this is not a factory-painted doll and went through the entire reborn painting process with the cuddle body head) -the head was removed from the original body and then completely stripped to the base vinyl and repainted with full details including - blushing lips glossed and painted eyebrows/eyelashes. Some of the dolls will still have factory hairlines in the vinyl but the main hair area is painted by me and more detailing added at the hairline and base hair color in total.
Kate has a newly designed custom-made body created in my studio (May 2024)-the torso area of the body is a soft plush fabric with muslin fabric for legs and arms-the body, the legs/arms are now longer with a larger hand and foot area to fill out socks, sleepers with feet, and hand scratch mitts. The body center is also softer with weight in the bum area for realism. She will fill out a 0/3 month sleeper wonderfully. The pattern is from my simple basic cuddle body- made just for her head size, this is handmade not a factory-purchased body. The head, arms, and legs move easily with joints attached to the main body, she is weighted in the head, center body, and both feet and hands.
Kate is part of my cuddle-reborn doll group, which I am offering at a lower price for the 2024 Holiday season. She would be a great therapy baby, a perfect gift for a new collector or young collector, or for those who just love older-style dolls like Berenguer dolls or if you just want to add a different kind of reborn to your collection.
