He (or she) was painted by me, from the Laura sculpt by Bonnie Brown. He has a certificate of authenticity from Bonnie and another one from my nursery.
He is painted with Genesis Heat Set paints and sealed with Genesis Heat Set Matte Varnish, with soft touches of Satin Varnish on strategic spots to create the natural shine of the skin. I painted milia on his nose, dry skin in the middle of his forehead and around his mouth, a red spot on his left eyelid, lanugo, veins, and tiny capillaries on his eyelids and ears. Also has a glossy mouth and nostrils.
His hair is painted with a pencil brush. He has a dark brown/black color. And his lashes are rooted with alpaca hair (the same color as the painted hair).
He is a cuddle baby, so all his body is a cloth body; only his head is made of vinyl. All the cloth body is filled with glass beads and polyfil softly distributed to create a very realistic weight and movement of the doll. His head is filled with fine quartz sand and soft polyfil, and when you lift the baby up, his head falls back very nicely.
He will go home with the outfits you can see in the last picture (boy or girl). That picture also shows the blanket, magnetic pacifier and diapers he/she will bring too. Everything will be nicely packaged to give you a very beautiful box opening.
He wears a size “0 -3 month” in clothing. This doll HAS a magnet inside his head to take a pacifier. If you want me to remove it, please let me know and I will do it once the purchase is completed.
