Rory is a reborn Berenguer doll -3/4 limb vinyl- (no gender)- she was painted in the manner of original reborn artwork before blank kits were available. (I also have a matching doll that could be her twin- Joy- also listed on ) 📌***PLEASE NOTE: (This is not a factory-painted doll and went through the entire traditional reborn painting process with the entire body- ) Rory's original factory paint was stripped to the base vinyl and completely repainted with full newborn details including - skin tones warmed, creasing, and blushing she does not have veining. The hair has an original line pattern in the base, The hair was hand-painted, and light hair details were added at the hairline and double varnished to protect the finish. She has full details such as light veining, light mottling, creasing, blushing, hand-painted eyebrows, painted eyelashes, and glossed and lightly tipped nail beds and lips. I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics from Irresistables and varnish by MacPherson Arts & Crafts. I have added weight to the doll's main body only torso—not the limbs, as they are sewn on, and I did not remove them—and I did not add any weight to the head. Rory is a cute versatile little baby I created for a budget-friendly option for the 2024 holiday gift-giving season and she has been given my full form of reborn work. She would make a great gift for a new or younger collector, a collector who wants something different, etc, or for a budget-friendly therapy doll. As with any reborn art doll intense or rough play is not recommended.
