Joy is a reborn Berenguer doll -3/4 limb vinyl- (no gender)- she was painted in the manner of original reborn artwork before blank kits were available. (I also have a matching doll that could be her twin- Rory- also listed on )

Joy's original factory paint was stripped to the base vinyl and completely repainted with full newborn details including - skin tones warmed, creasing, and blushing she does not have veining. The hair has an original line pattern in the base, The hair was hand-painted, and light hair details were added at the hairline and double varnished to protect the finish. She has full details such as no veining, light mottling, creasing, blushing, hand-painted eyebrows, painted eyelashes, and glossed and lightly tipped nail beds and lips.
I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics from Irresistables and varnish by MacPherson Arts & Crafts.
I have added weight to the doll's main body only the torso—not the limbs, as they are sewn on, and I did not remove them—and I did not add any weight to the head. Joy has her original white cloth body it was not changed.
Rory is a cute versatile little baby I created for a budget-friendly option for the 2024 holiday gift-giving season and she has been given my full form of reborn work. She would make a great gift for a new or younger collector, a collector who wants something different, etc, or for a budget-friendly therapy doll.
As with any reborn art doll intense or rough play is not recommended.

I am happy to answer any questions you have and send more pictures if you need to see more before buying. I do not do returns, exchanges, or refunds due to the nature of the doll being sent out and handled, considering covid 19 and other issues with handling outside my studio once the doll is shipped. I rarely ever re-sell reborns from other artists if so this will be noted on the listing. Variations in colors and shading on reborn dolls are normal as they are art dolls and they are hand-painted. I take my photos in studio lighting, with no filters to show the true coloring of the doll. I try to ship within 2/3 days of orders to get your baby to you as fast as possible. If paying by Stripe there will be a 4 to 5-day delay - I ship once payment has been transferred to my account.

I usually use Synthetic hair on all my reborns (unless noted it is mohair) as it is more durable, easier to style, and maintain long-term with no breakage. âś” Note for Slicione dolls- please be aware of the different textures of silicone and the nature of it before buying, any variations of this are not in my control as textures can vary when the doll is poured and de-molded. Color variations are normal as well with silicone dolls.
If you purchase a doll from me, the doll is yours to resell should you not feel that you are not satisfied with my painting work or that you don't have a deep connection with the doll. I always try to do photos in several kinds of lighting to show all colors and details of every doll I create so the buyer can see. The coloring can depend on the viny of the doll as older kits may have a darker reddish tone. Weights are approximate as I do not always weigh them before shipping and this may vary.
I do encourage you to ask questions up-front before making a purchase and if you need additional detailed pictures please ask for them before paying for the doll.
