Maria was purchased directly from the Australian artist at Ness's Reborn Doll Nursery. She is beautifully painted with Ultimate Air Dry Paint with a soft matte finish (no shine). The hair on her head and eyelashes are light brown grafted perfectly simulating the appearance of a newborn baby. In her open mouth you can see her well molded and painted tongue and gums. She can use a modified pacifier (without a magnet) and she also has a magnet inside her mouth for a magnetic pacifier (included). The body of this baby is made of weighted cloth with glass beads and stuffing. Her weight is very realistic, her head falls back (you have to hold it). You can try to calm her with her fingers but it is almost impossible, lol keep all your resources at hand: blanket, pacifier, bottle and of course diapers because Maria is definitely a very typical and demanding newborn baby.
