This Tessa by Bountiful Baby is painted with my extreme attention to detail, but has all the snuggles that a cuddle baby can offer. She has beautiful cool undertones and blotched realistic baby coloring. She has a weighted tan “squishmallow” feel cloth body with cloth arms and cloth legs that are also weighted.
This doll is comparable to the Pickle kit in size (she’s just a touch smaller)! She is a LARGE infant sized (6 month size in my opinion) baby! She is on a cloth body made for a 22” doll making her a 3-6 or 6-9 month size in clothes. Photos are taken with professional camera in natural/indoor lights. I have also included cell phone photos as our winter weather is making it hard to get the best photos of her.
Weighted to feel like a real baby- She is approximately 5-6lbs. She feels nice and heavy in your arms without being a burden to carry around. 😄 Vinyl head is weighted (with glass beads) and is NOT floppy. She has a foam armature in her neck to keep her head from flopping back unrealistically due to her LARGE size. Her head is still able to turn. Incredibly realistic blotched baby complexion with baby red marks/scratches and natural blue undertones. Painted brown and flowy baby hair Rooted alpaca lashes in a gorgeous fringy style. Poses beautifully Magnetized for a pacifier Has lots of milia and realistic looking texture on face. Nostrils/ears/lips/lids/mouth enhanced with a light sheen. Ear and nose holes are shaded dark. Textured with heat set varnish Cuddle body from Tiny Succulents Nursery- premium “squishmallow” material. She feels like a dream to hold! Combination of angel silk and regular polyfil. Glass beads in limbs are up to “forearms” and “ankles” Belly and bum weighting contents enclosed in a pouch.
Not intended for younger children. She needs careful handling with supervision. She cannot be picked up by a hand or foot, or there is a risk of her glass beads shifting position.
