Say Hello to Johanna! This is the last baby of 2024! 😊 Here is my version of the popular Johanna Asleep from Bountiful Baby. She is such a wonderful baby to hold. Photos are taken in some natural and artificial light. I do not use filters.
Johanna is painted in translucent layers with Ultimate Fusion, RebornFX, and Golden air-dry paints. The baby is sealed with Windsor and Newton Matt UV Varnish and Americana soft-touch varnish for a durable, lovely baby skin texture. Johanna has delicate capillaries, mottling, veining, blushing, milia, and a little gloss added in all the right places. The baby has a light pore texture added to the cheeks, nose, and forehead. Johanna is weighted with glass beads and filled with premium Poly-fil. Eyes are fringed with beautiful, rooted lashes. The eyebrows and hair are hand painted and sealed, with a cute patch of soft, rooted mohair. The Baby’s head is floppy and will need to be supported like a real baby. Johanna is wearing newborn clothing in the photos.
