Ahanu means “he laughs" in Algonquin which is a native language spoken by many different tribes from the US and Canada. I thought it was a fitting name for him. Im in love with this little guy. He was so much fun to create. This baby has a rich dark skin tone, textured pore like varnish on his face and matte varnished everywhere else. He is mono rooted with lovely, high quality, human hair. I wish I had made his hair just a tiny bit longer but it is long enough to put into braids as you can see from pictures. I can not French braid but I think that would look nice but he looks nice with his hair down as well. He has gorgeous chocolate brown, blue sclera, blown glass eyes framed with black mohair rooted lashes.
This little boy has 3/4 limbs which I usually don't like but I adore how poseable and cuddly he is. I put packs of glass beads in his arm and leg caps (cloth part of his limbs) so they feel more like part of his limbs rather than soft and squishy. It also helps to hold his limbs up without them dangling from the soft parts. If you want to see how this looks and "feels" go to the end my latest video. I did not give him a pacifier magnet but I will make him a modified pacifier with a soft ear plug as the paci nipple so it will stay in his mouth.
Little Ahanu will come home with all his clothes seen in pictures (sizes 6,9, and 12 months), a cloth diaper made by my daughter, his Reborns by Zebra crocheted zebra doudou (lovey) and crocheted moccasins. He will also bring his petrol blue blanket, his modified pacifier, hair conditioner and comb plus hair ties, COA, birth certificate, and a special treat for his new parent (s)

Photos are taken in natural light or with LED photography lights and with my Google pixel Pro 7 cell phone or Sony ZV-1 camera. I never alter pictures in any way.
Baby will come to you with a box opening, well packaged and protected in bubble wrap and a soft blanket.
Be sure to check your Reborn if your shipping box arrives damaged. Don't sign or accept until you are sure your baby is not damaged. If your baby HAS been damaged immediately report to the delivery carrier and then please let me know. This way you can be compensated through the shipping insurance.

Please look over the pictures and description of the reborn doll and ask me any questions you may have before purchasing one of my dolls. My reborn dolls are a work of art and therefore unique and subject to small imperfections. If there is a major flaw in my work I will point this out and take pictures to show said flaw. All other imperfections are added to show realism and make this doll more unique.
I ship my reborn dolls in a timely manner and they are shipped in a cardboard box with strong packing tape and wrapped in a good quality blanket and then wrapped in bubble wrap. Sometimes balloons and/or packing paper or bubbles are placed around the reborn doll for more protection. I always ship with insurance and you typically sign for your package. Any damage during shipping will be covered by said insurance. UPS is no longer requiring customer signature so if you need them to do this please let me know as I will have to pay a bit extra.
SAFETY CONCERNS
Be aware that my dolls can contain, strong magnets, glass beads, glass or plastic eyes, glues, paints, mediums, and varnish. They also sometimes include metal BB pellets, rubber pellets, silicone pellets, or plastic armatures.
Very strong magnets should not be near people with pacemakers or any indwelling or other medical equipment and can also be dangerous for small children if swallowed. These reborn dolls are not made for children, pets, or adults who can not understand the risks. If you decide to give one of my reborn dolls to a child, pet, or person who does not understand the risks you do so at your, and their risk and peril. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and anyone vulnerable in your care.
Return Policy: No refunds/returns after baby is shipped. If baby is damaged in shipping it is your responsibility to report this to the shipping company and this will be covered by shipping insurance. You are responsible for any duty or customs fees/taxes in your country.
Layaway Available: Only for customers who have bought on Reborns before. At least 20% nonrefundable down payment and then payments each month to pay off within 4 months or less. Will ship only after full payment.
