This amazing baby is the “Maxi” sculpture by Severine Piret Mercer, limited edition #57 of only 555 made! I usually make newborn size babies, so I thought I’d test myself with this bigger baby and I’m so glad I did! Maxi is 24 inches long and weighs right at 10 pounds! She wears size 1 diaper, 3 months clothes and size 1 shoes, which I love! I weighted her to feel like holding a 3 month old baby! She is so much fun to dress up and do her hair! She has long dark brown micro rooted slumberland mohair that can be combed straight or make beautiful curls! I painted her with many layers of air dry paint, sealed and 2 coats of varnish for a lifetime of protection! She has full limbs on a cloth body, filled with tiny glass beads, silicone pellets and Polly fill. She has a magnet for a pacifier! Her eyes are a high quality dark brown with rooted lashes and brows! I took all pictures in different areas of my home with different lighting conditions to show the most accurate description of what she looks like in person!
