Up for your consideration is the unique and utterly adorable example of a full vinyl reborn baby doll. This type of doll is my absolute favorite to work with because of the sweet anatomically correct torso. The torso is like a turtle shell that fits over the cloth body. Please be aware that this type of baby doll will be considerably stiffer than a reborn with a cloth body. Be sure to take this into consideration if you decide to purchase. The head and legs on baby move freely. The arms do not move as well but still pose very nicely. The doll wears newborn and possibly 0-3 months clothes.
The upside of this is that I can weight the doll a very realistic almost 8 pounds. Also, the variety of clothing may be extended as the torso shows more realistic than a cloth body would.
The Angel doll kit came from Bountiful Baby. It is a discontinued kit, and I would likely not be able to purchase again. I love both the Harper boy torso and this baby Angel with the girl torso.
I have given baby Angel very realistic skin tones, stork bites, blue subtle veining, sweet crease and wrinkle shading. I opted to give Angel a sweet head of painted hair. It turned out exactly what I was going for. I wanted to be able to see her sweet little scalp beneath the hair. I gave the doll painted baby hairs around the temple and cheeks. I also gave the face a few little light colored baby peach fuzz. The nailbeds were given a sweet look baby manicure. The paints that I used were the original Genesis heat set paints. The doll was painted with many layers of very translucent tones. The eyebrows are painted and she was given rooted eyelashes. The lashes are securely glued from within but I always suggest using care when dressing and undressing the baby doll. I adore the way my Angel baby turned out and am proud to offer her to a potential new Mommy or Daddy. The doll does feel heavy in your arms. But is sheer joy to hold.

The doll's layette will include clothing that she is seen wearing. A care sheet with suggestions to keep doll in pristine condition. No other items or props will be included. The kit did not come with a COA but was purchased directly from Bountiful Baby. The doll was not given any magnets. The doll was not meant to be a play toy for small children. I always advise use care if pets are present as the kit contains very glass beads.
