Silicone cuddle baby Nivia was sculpted by Daniela Havlova, poured in Ecoflex 20 by Bobbi Barfoot of TruBorn and brought to life by me, using silicone paints, matted with Silicone Velvet matting powder. Nivia is a baldie, but does have rooted blonde lashes. She does not have any inner mouth details aside from color, but does take a full pacifier. She is on a MacPhersons cuddle body, (the sew-up type, not the one with velcro closures on the limbs) that has been stuffed with fine glass beads and extra soft Polyfil to be just over 6 pounds. Nivia wears newborn size clothing and will come home with a small box opening.
Nivia came to me with quite a few rough spots/minor defects from pouring and while I was able to smooth her out quite a bit, I still encountered a few spots that were difficult to get the paint to look "perfect" on. The main one is on her left cheek, which can be seen in her photos. I don't consider these small imperfections severe enough to consider her a "boo boo baby" as silicone is prone to flaws, but I wanted to disclose them regardless!
