Isaac is painted in an ethnic skin tone. & painted over the course of weeks with dozens of layer of paint, by hand. I use BC, and GHSP paints to achieve the look of realism through layers of texture, mottling, skin tones and so much more. I’ve varnished and topped with an air dry soft touch top coat.
This reborn doll is not a toy, but a work of art and consists of fine details such as skin texture, dry skin, milia, blushing, veining, mottling, nail tips, gloss and so much more. Because of this please be careful when handling. I wouldn’t suggest this doll for a child.
Hair is rooted directionally with premium, black straight mohair. It has been washed and conditioned. Eyelashes are also rooted. Both have been sealed from the inside. I’ve drawn the eyebrows with prisma and sealed them.
I like to assemble my reborns to have some weight and feel like a real baby. This little girl or boy will need to be handled carefully, head will need to be supported as it is also weighed. Each limbs is weighed and the cloth body is filled with polyfill and glass beads. Baby weighs about 6lbs pounds 7 ounces She is floppy and realistically assembled.
